Your crew will be part of your posse and follow your orders. Once down on the planet's surface, the controls are much like that of the Creature Stage, with an over-the-shoulder camera view. These missions send you and your crew to strange alien worlds, where you'll beam down to the planet's surface. In Galactic Adventures, you'll be able to create your own Space Captain to pilot your spaceship and take on exciting missions given to you by alien empires, earning you Spore Bucks and reputation.
IGN: How does this differ from the existing Space Stage gameplay? Kip Katsarelis: The overall goals of the Space Stage remain the same-expand your empire, improve your spaceship's capabilities as you make your way to the center of the Galaxy and take on The Grox. Gain Spore Points (experience) by completing missions either in the Space Stage or through Quick Play and as your Captain rises in rank, they will unlock new parts and abilities.
